For those who missed the 2007 premier of ICARUS/RISE at Theater Artaud, the San Francisco-based Red Poppy Art House is presenting an ICARUS/RISE Re-mix.

Drawing on the art of Naghali (dramatic poetry recitation) ICARUS/RISE is a multimedia theatrical piece based on poetry featured in BELONGING: New Poetry by Iranians Around the World , connecting the myth of Icarus with the migration of Iranians, and the solitary journey of the artist/migrant in the quest for freedom.
