"Bringing Rostam to the American Comic book"
by Bruce Bahmani, writer and co-creator of "Rostam: Tales from the
Shahnameh"
Bruce will present the process of bringing Iran's greatest mythical
hero from the classical persian poem "The Shahnameh, by Ferdowsi,
into the 20th century literary genre of the modern American comic
book. Bruce will also present never before seen samples from the much
anticipated 2nd book "Rostam: Search for the King" due out this
Spring. Suitable for ages 10 and over. Presentation will be in
English, Farsi, or Finglish as appropriate.
Books will be available for sale and signing.
