1- Report on BAIAD's Sept 7th successful event where 150 people showed up and 27 people became new paid member of BAIAD!!

Open discussion on what went right and what went wrong (can be improved)


2- What is next? The new team of BAIAD has accomplished one successful event, so what is next?

3- Mehdi's report on BAIAD's Volunteer plan to help Obama & local candidates. Get ready for phone banking to Nevada!


4- Report on Santa Clara Democratic party's September meeting.

Minutes of the last meeting on August 13 at Faz Restaurant in Sunnyvale
Presents: We had 12 people present: Mehrdad Moayedzadeh, Sousan Manteghi, Fahimeh Eghtessadi, Morteza Tajally, Mariam Ghazvini, Carol Nelson, Griffin Nelson, Hamid Banaei, Melodi Masanidi, Shila Mortezi, Nazy E. & Mehdi Safipour (that is me)

1- Most of the meeting was dedicated to discussion on organizing BAIAD events for Sept. 7th where Steve Westly will be the main speaker. Duties where assigned to different people present. Melodi volunteered to create an event page on Facebook for BAIAD. Melodi made a great page for us.. Later we found out Sina Ferdosi had already made a event page and invited all his friends. Thank you Sina & Melodi.

2- Morteza spoke very briefly about his recent trip to Iran.
