Description
Dr. Kamiar Alaei should be in Albany right now, continuing his 2nd year of doctoral studies at SUNY Albany School of Public Health . Instead, he and his brother, Dr. Arash Alaei--internationally respected HIV/AIDS physicians-- have been detained by the Iranian government and are being held without charge. Next week on September 24 at Noon, PHR is holding a vigil to call for their release during Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit to NYC for the UN General Assembly.
Can you attend this important event and to call on the Iranian Government to respect the human rights of your health professional Colleagues?
