Dear Anousheh,
Like many Iranians around the world, I'm proud of you for your achievments in your life. However, it's time for people like you in high places with the ties to Russians to help a poor Iranian woman, Zahra Kamalfar & her two children who are stuck in the Airport Terminals for so many months in Russia without any help or care!!! They are really in bad shape... Maybe you can help them!!! Note: I do not have any relation with this poor family who are seeking asylum to Russia or any country that would take them! She ran away from Islamic Republic because of her participation in a demonstration against I.R. IRAN which lead to her imprisonment for eight months or so.... Please help them...
Thanks & God Bless,
Reza Badei San Diego, CA USA

Hello Reza Badei:

I appreciate your concern for Zahra Kamalfar and her two children and I wish the best for them. However, I do not think that a public e-forum is the proper place to make such a plea, for the following reason: There are a countless number of such desperate cases and there is no way that Anousheh Ansari could help any significant number of them. For her to not help any such appeal made to her publicly makes her look callous. I agree that Anousheh Ansari is in a unique position to do good, but she must be subtle as Scheherazade in order to save the people of Iran.

Sincerely,
Eric Jerpe

Dear Anousheh,

I find you a role model to me. I am like you, and Iranian-American girl, finding herself in both cultures. My eyes were really opened to space exploration when I went to your speech in Stanford. I found it astounding to really be hearing you speak live. I really got a true idea of your dreams and goals. You really support women to follow their dreams and be who they want, which I really like. I was so gleeful when your speech was over, and I decided that you would be one of my role models. I think that the people of Iran would love to see you make a speech for them if you haven't already.
