Enlightenment
As the PR Coordinator for Agora Gallery, I would like to extend an invitation to you to a collective exhibition featuring the Iranian artist L. Zarei.
L. Zarei's paintings will be exhibited in Enlightenment. This collective exhibition takes place April 15 - May 6 in Agora Gallery's Chelsea location at 530 W. 25th Street. The reception is April 20 6-8pm. Gallery hours are Tuesday - Saturday 11am-6pm. Admittance is open to the public and free of charge.
Born in Tabriz, L. Zarei's magic-realist works heave with imagery teeming with animals, Egyptian ankhs, human faces, vehicles of flight, religious prophets, ever-present eyes, and man-animals, twisting and turning about the visual plane, netherworlds tumbling from the psyches of beings lost in the circuitry of the mind’s dreamscapes.
