FROM THE MIDDLE EAST TO THE MIDWEST summer festival
Add to CalendarAugust 28-29, 2004. We will transform the Chicago city Block 37 tents
into a Middle Eastern bazaar showcasing the instrumental and vocal
music, dance, visual and culinary art and literature from the Middle
East and North Africa. This will be an open festival for the City of
Chicago engaging people of all ages to experience a taste of the region
through its art and food. Maggie Daley will be our Honorary Chairperson
and Hollywood Producer Harold Ramis, our Emcee.
