Dr. Haghi received his PhD from Harvard in History of Science and Medical degree from Shiraz University. He has studied at the Shiraz Theological School and studied Theoretical and Practical Sufism with Elahi Qomshee and Islamic Philosophy with Mirza-e-Roshan. He has taught at many universities including Harvard and Berkeley. His area of expertise spans Islamic Philosophy, Mysticism, Quranic Studies, to Comparative Mysticism, and History of the Interaction of science and religion.
