A Musical Journey Through Persia
An exploration of the cultural wonders of an ancient land
Featuring young local artists: Saluhuddin Fakhriev (doira, daf), Fares Hedayati (tonbak, daf), Kaveh Hedayati (setar), Navid Hedayati (vocals), Neema Hekmat (santur), Miriam Peretz (traditional dance), Rachel Valfer (vocals, oud, kamanche)
Enlightening narratives and recited poetry by Elnaz Eilkhani and Adeleh Moghaddam.
Program is open to the general public
Ticketing information: No children under the age of 10 will be admitted. Admission is free on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day of the event for unreserved seating. Seats may be reserved for program sponsors with a $30 per person minimum tax-deductible contribution. Contact Neema Hekmat at nhekmat@stanfordalumni.org for more details on event sponsorship.
