We are writing to you on behalf of the Vishwa Nirmala Dharma Educational Society. We are a registered non-profit organization, which has been offering Sahaja Yoga meditation classes in various locations in the GTA for more than 20 years.

Sahaja Yoga is a spiritual teaching founded by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. Through this Meditation your inner power of energy integrates and balances your physical, mental, and emotional being. Sahaja Yoga is a method of meditation which brings a breakthrough in the evolution of human awareness. It was created in 1970 and has since spread all around the world.

In Shri Mataji's own words: "Global unity of mankind can be achieved through this awakening that can occur within each human being, so that transformation takes place within us. By this process a person becomes moral, united, integrated and balanced. One actually gets the experience of the feeling of the all-pervading divine power as cool breeze. "Know thy self" is the main theme of all the scriptures - it becomes evident and one reaches the absolute understanding of one’s self.”

The message of Sahaja Yoga integrates the essences of all faiths in the experience of the human spirit through the practice of a simple, natural form of meditation. Sustaining the new knowledge is important and hence we offer ongoing weekly programs to deepen the experience.

The influence of Sahaja Yoga meditation on physical health was the subject of a US government-sponsored symposium at the National Institute of Health (NIH), at which the NIH official hosting the event praised Sahaja Yoga as “effective complimentary medicine”.

Sahaja Yoga Meditation Public Program is scheduled for Toronto at North York Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge St. (North of Sheppard) at 7:00 pm on Friday, May 9 /2008.
