Sounds of L.A. 2006 opens with Turkish multi-instrumentalist, Omar Faruk Tekbilek. A child prodigy, “Faruk” is known around the world for a refined yet passionate sound and his commitment to bridging cultures. In addition to his ensemble, he will be joined by Hasan Isakkut on "kanun" for a performance that combines traditional acoustic elements with beautiful and rich electronic harmonies.

When: Saturday, January 28, 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 29, 3:00 p.m.

SYL invites you to Paradise Saturday, January 28th 9PM-3AM @ Paradise Lounge 1501 Folsom St. @11th St. San Francisco      This Saturday night Sol Y Luna starts a party which will soon become the most exclusive event in San Francisco. Join us at the freshly remodeled and ultra chic Paradise Lounge in the SOMA district of SF. For those of you not familiar with Paradise, it's a 2 story, 4 bar, multi-room, lavishly decorated club that caters to the cream de la cream of SF.      We'd like to give thanks to everyone that came out to our last party at Ruby Skye. You came out in full force to make it the biggest event there ever. Unfortunately, so many people showed up that we hit capacity at 11PM!!!
