Hamed Nikpay is one of the finest young artists to emerge out of Iran in the recent years. His love for the music manifests in powerful vocal and instrumental presentations of the traditional Persian music and poetry.

Emam has been trained by the grand masters of tabla: Ustad Alla Rakha and Ustad Zakir Hussain. Recipient of an AIIS scholarship for study of music in India, Emam has been performing for over twenty five years with great artists from around the world.
