July 11, 200402:00 PM » Berkeley Arts Center Presents: "SACRED SPACES"Berkeley Arts Center Presents: ³SACRED SPACES² Installations by: curated by: Terri Cohn June 27 through August 7, 2004 Berkeley Art Center Gallery hours: Wednesday-Sunday, noon to 5 pm In these times of chaos and uncertainty independent curator and art historian, Terri Cohn, has invited six artists to create site-specific works that explore their understandings of what comprises sacred space‹ideas or activities that endure and provide meaning and depth to our lives. These works reflect their diverse cultural backgrounds and countries of origin. The artists share a focus on sculpture and installation, a desire to create room for reflection, and a focus on issues that are both personal and political.
