Through humorous articles and broadcasts in the western media, the group's website receives thousands of hits a month from a growing international listeners. They live in Tehran, Iran and they sing in both English and Persian.

In October 2005, 127 completed a short US tour performing three well received shows in DC, Boston, and NYC, becoming the first Iranian rock band to tour the United States. They were also the first Iranian band to perform at the South by South West festival in Austin, Texas in 2006.
