I hope you are enjoying your Summer and charging your batteries!
The San Jose Earthquakes Soccer team (SJEQ) and Soccer Silicon Valley (SSV) want to help raise funds for the Norouz Festival and the Iranian Community Center. They recognize our community for both its talented youth soccer players (which can help them in recruitment) and also as soccer lovers and enthusiasts to go to their games and support them.
To show their good intentions, they have organized a Private Screening of the Award Winning Iranian movie, “Off-side” http://www.sonyclas sics.com/ offside/ which young Iranian girls dress up like boys to sneak into the stadium in Tehran to be able to watch an important Soccer match. It is a very entertaining movie.
They, SJEQ and SSV along with Ben Absalom Mortgage Planners and Rosie McCann’s Restaurant in Santa Row have underwritten this event. The price of admission will be only $5 per person and out of that 100% goes toward raising funds for an Iranian Community Center in San Jose.
Please forward this email to your soccer buddies, families and friends. There is only one showing and only 250 tickets available, so please do not wait. You can purchase your ticket from the web address below or at the door, but it is first come, first served. When the tickets are finished they are finished, so please do not wait until last minute.
