Iranian Alliances Across Borders (IAAB) is pleased to announce its Third International Conference on the Iranian Diaspora, to take place April 28-29, 2007 at New York University in New York, NY.
IAAB is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that seeks to strengthen the Iranian diaspora community, placing particular emphasis on its youth. The conference will address the current conditions and issues facing the Iranian diaspora through a series of panels and workshops. In addition to providing an open environment for productive and interactive discussions about the diaspora, the conference will also serve as an opportunity to build a stronger network of Iranians across national borders.
In addition to continuing the dialogue initiated during the 2005 Conference and 2004 Conference, this year's conference will address a wide range of timely concerns and recent developments within the Iranian diaspora.

Hypernova. Out of a musical landscape dominated by more traditional Prog-rockers, Metallers and the increasingly popular electronic and hip-hop sound, an Indie band named Hypernova was born.
