Nima Farsi School Chahar Shanbe Soori in Albany

Nima Farsi School is going to host a kid's chahar shanbe soori open to the
community.

WHEN: 13th of march 2007

WHERE: in front of cross roads center next door to the community center in
Albany village, Berkeley.

(there is another one happening in Danville but i don't have the address to
that one, if anyone does please post thanks)

WHAT TIME: gathering for food and mixer at 6:30 pm and 7 ish (whenever it
starts getting dark) the jumping over the fire starts.

potluck food and refreshments hot or cold dishes
welcome, and there will be ash e reshteh and Aajil e moshgel goshaa and
other yummy Iranian/non Iranian foods. Children must be accompanied by an
adult at all times and especially throughout the jumping over the fire
ceremony. kids will line up and jump over rather tame fire in an orderly and
safe fashion. this is a chance to meet the wonderful people who run and
attend Nima Farsi school. event is open to the public. hope it doesn't rain
and we did jump over fire and have a great time last year even though it did
rain so can't hurt to bring an umbrella. this event is free of charge.
