Cupertino Quinlan Community Center
Payvand and the Iranian Federated Women's Club (IFWC) present and invite the general public to their 10th Annual Arts and Cultural Festival at the Cupertino Quinlan Community Center on Sunday, October 29, 2006 starting at 11 a.m to 6 p.m.. This free festival and fundraising event is a great opportunity to experience Iran's diverse culture. There will be various activities, such as dance, music, poetry, arts and crafts, book signings, an art gallery all accompanied by delicious authentic Persian cuisine. Every year our event and program has attracted over 3000 member of the community.
The main purposes of our festival has been to keep our tradition and share our culture, it has also been about passing on the cultural heritage to our younger generation. This year, one of our main purposes is to promote the entrepreneurs in our community. We have invited young Iranian entrepreneurs and artists to showcase their success and hard work at the Festival.
Again, on behalf of the Payvand Cultural School, and The Iranian Federated Women’s Club, please accept our heartfelt appreciation for your consideration, and generous support and participation in these key cultural programs to benefit Iranian American community. With your support, our precious community can be triumphant in their ever-important cultural integration.

On Sunday, October 29, 2006, at 4:00 PM in Noor va Danesh there will be an Interfaith Prayers for Peace service. Leaders and speakers from six faith traditions (Jewish, Islam, Christian, Zoroastrian, Hinduism, and Buddhism) will reflect on their understanding of the holy call to peacemaking and lead us in prayers for peace.
Join us to pray for an end to the violation and killing of innocent people all around the world.
