The US and Israel government leaders have openly and repeatedly made threats of military ! action for a change of regime in Iran since George W. Bush's January 2002 State of Union Speech which labeled Iran as part of the axis of evil. A regime change in Iran is in accord with the neo-conservatives grand plan of the Project of the New American Century of which the present disaster in Iraq is the first major outcome.

In recent weeks, the unacceptable remarks of Mahmood Ahmadinejad, the new Iranian President, about Israel and the Holocaust have played strongly into the hands of the Israel and US governments which have fully exploited these remarks to prepare the world public opinion for imposition of UN sanctions against Iran. Such sanctions will be the prelude for a military attack which can lead to a fully fledged new war in the Middle East, even more horrifying than the present situation in Iraq and threatening peace and stability all around the Middle East and beyond.
