List of Persian/Iranian Events for 2005-02-13

What are you doing this year on Valentine's Day? Are you looking to connect with people and just have fun? We have come up with an affordable outing that suits singles, couples, old and young alike?for the Persian community to network, make friends and be in good company.

Iran Runners & Walkers club has planned a Valentine get away to the spectacular Napa Valley on Sunday, February 13, 2005. We take you on a posh chartered bus and drive you through a most scenic route while listening to Persian music and enjoying refreshments. Once in Napa we will visit 3 of the most pleasant wineries including the renowned Robert Mondavi/Opus and the architecturally beautiful Darius winery (http://www.darioush.com) with the replica of the Persepolis.

Add to that a delicious picnic lunch of Kabob koobideh, and joojeh and the fixings by our famous chef Mr. Bakhtiari and an excursion to the beautiful and historic downtown Napa for desserts and souvenirs plus the best music and dancing along the way and you will have an unforgettable Valentine's Day!

The bus will leave Bijan Cafe & Bakery (441 Saratoga Avenue San Jose, CA 95129) at 9:00 a.m sharp and will return by approximately 6:00 p.m. Our second pick-up location is at University Arco ( 833 University Ave. Berkeley, CA 94710) for those from the San Francisco and East Bay area at 10:00 am sharp.

Please RSVP for this event at iran_runners@yahoo.com, and mail a check payable to Mary Mehr for $30.00 per person to P.O. Box 20077 Stanford, CA. 94305 by no later than Monday, January 31, 2005. Include your email and/or telephone number in you payment envelope for contact.

Please be advised that seating on the bus is limited to forty people only and we will accept only non-refundable paid reservations on a first come basis.
