    High School and University Students

A challenging essay-writing competition, open primarily to grades 11 and 12 in BC, and a Call for Participation for SFU and UBC students, are keys to the organizers’ focus on youth involvement. Six winners will be selected to ask questions at the Roundtable Dialogue held at the Chan Centre at UBC. Approximately 150 runners-up will be invited to attend the simulcast session at SFU’s Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue. The competitions will be on an aspect of balancing mind-heart education in the context of sustainable development or community-building.

The deadline for the BC grade 11 and 12 competition has passed. Winners and runners-up will be informed before March 31, 2004.
