our next meeting of Shahnameh khani will be held February 13th , 2004. At this meeting, we'll continue with the love story of Bejan & Manijeh.
Time: Gathering begins at 6:00 PM and the meeting promptly at 6:30
Place: Just wanted to let you know that we're still in the process of negotiating with the De Anza collage regarding our usual place of gathering. Until further notice, We've managed to find a place very close to De Anza collage for the time being and the address is;

San Jose 95129
Below is the direction from De Anza collage:
1. Start at 21250 STEVENS CREEK BLVD, CUPERTINO going towards S STELLING RD - go 1.3 mi
2. Turn on S BLANEY AVE - go 1.8 mi
3. Turn on DARTMOOR WAY - go 0.1 mi
4. Turn on ARDENWOOD DR - go < 0.1 mi
5. Arrive at 1528 ARDENWOOD DR, SAN JOS
I'll leave a directions on the De Anza collage classroom door as to where the meeting has been moved to.

Mr. Entezam is a Systems Engineer by profession. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Philosophy, and Master's degree in Economics. He has done extensive research in various fields in Islamic studies over the past 25 years. He frequently speaks on Islam in the U.S., Canada, and Iran. He has regular appearances at IMAN in Los Angeles, Ebne Sina in Irvine, and Bonyad-e Towhid in San Jose to give lectures and hold classes in Farsi and English. His interests include Modernist Islamic thought, Theology, Islamic Mysticism, Islamic Ethics, and Socio-Political Theory.
Lecture series: History of Spirituality

Mr. Entezam will continue the lecture series "History of Spirituality" on Saturday February 14, 2004 in room Q-80. This course examines the origins of Spirituality and explores the commonalities and uniqueness of Pantheistic religions of Hinduism and Buddhism, as well as those of Theistic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. There are no prerequisites for this course. To derive the maximum benefit the students should commit themselves to attending all sessions of this monthly course designed to last about a year. The lecture is in English and is held once a month. Everyone is welcomed.
