A 2-day workshop on Fundamentals of Persian Lyricism

About the speaker
Mr. Tooraj Negahban is a renowned Iranian poet and writer with monumental contributions in the area of Persian lyricism. During his 60-year career, he has produced over 700 lyrics for Iran's most celebrated traditional and pop singers including Marzieh, Banan, Hayedeh, Ahdieh, Googoosh, and Dariush. Mr. Negahban holds multiple undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Tehran in English poetry, law, social sciences and sociology. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA where he produces a weekly TV program dedicated to the study of Persian poetry and music.
