Hello to all my lovely friends, and Happy Summer to you all!
I would love to share with you a fulfilling and joyous experience, A Sufi Meditation Retreat for Young Adults.
Last summer, I was one among many young adults who signed up for this weekend-long retreat. In a mansion, in the heart of nature on Mt. Tamalpais, I have experienced Love of Zikr (Sufi Chanting) and Sufi Poetry and rejuvenation of my soul through Sufi Meditation. The enhancement of energy revitalized my body, mind, and soul. Reconnected to my heart, I experienced passion, warmth, and love and its beautiful motion in my whole body where it left nothing but beauty and joy. The serenity of nature was a breeze of life on my skin that relaxed my body and mind; calmness and stillness allowed me to hear the music of nature and feel the impulses of life in my heart. It is a beautiful experience!
M.T.O. Sufi Association this summer, from August 22-24, 2008, is hosting the 2nd Tamarkoz Retreat for Young Adult, titled "My Life, My Journey".
On behalf of M.T.O. Sufi Association, and even more personally, I would love to invite you to this retreat.
IN SHORT:
-This retreat is the chance to leave behind the stress and bond with a group of young adults...
-Enjoy a peaceful contemplative weekend.
-Amid the beautiful mountainside redwoods.
-Learn about yourself by quieting your busy mind.
-Let go of negative emotions and feel energized...
Let's have fun and get away from it all!

You will begin your stay by arriving at 6:00pm on Friday and will enjoy dinner. The retreat continues all day Saturday and Sunday morning, ending at noon.
The cost is stated below and will include tuition, lodging for two nights, delicious meals, and daily tea and snack.

General: $295
Regular registration fee received after July 18th, 2008:

PLEASE NOTE THAT:
FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE AFTER AUGUST 1st, 2008.
THERE IS A $25 SERVICE CHARGE FOR REFUNDS.

Movazeneh- Powerful energy balancing, slow movement exercise.
Nature-exploring the beauty of nature and admiring the stars.
Collaborative Games-gather with friends and play.
Breathing & Meditation-quieting the Mind and energizing your being.
Poetry- hear the famed love poem of the great Sufi Masters.
Self Exploration Exercises- moving beyond the habit patterns.
Zikr & Live Music-chanting to cleans & heal the soul & music to liven your spirits.
