Agn�s Devictor teaches at the Universit� d�Avignon et des pays de Vaucluse and she is member of the Laboratory of research � Culture and Communication �.
She wrote her PhD. in comparative political science on � The Public policy of culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran, exemple of cinema (1979-1997) and lived in Iran for four years (1994-1998). She is a renowned expert of the Iranian Cinema ad wrote Politique du cin�ma iranien, de l'�yatoll�h Khomeyni au pr�sident Kh�tami, CNRS Editions, 2004.
She is the author or co-author of many articles, such as Cr�ations artistiques contemporaines en pays d'Islam. Des arts en tensions, J. Dakhlia (dir.), Editions Kim�, Paris, 2006 ; Au Sud du cin�ma, ARTE Editions et Cahiers du Cin�ma, La multiplication des images en pays d�Islam, B. Heberger et S. Naef (dir.), Ed. Orient-Institut des Deutschen Morgenl�ndischen Gesellschaft, W�rzburg, 2003 ; The New Iranian Cinema : Politics, Representation and Identity, Z. Mir-Hosseini and R. Tapper (dir.),I.B. Tauris, London, 2002.
She is in charge of the Program on Cinema at the French Institute of Research in Iran since 2006 and had organized for this institution and in collaboration with iranian institutions two seminars in Tehran : Cinema and belief (Faculty of Fine arts, Tehran) in January 2007 and Filming war in Iran and Afghanistan during the 80�s and the question of film archives (Documentary and Experimental Film Center, Tehran) in January 2008.
