April 20, 200803:00 PM » Berkeley Lecture Series in conjunction with Taraneh Hemami’s exhibition of THEORY OF SURVIVALBerkeley Lecture Series in conjunction with Taraneh Hemami’s exhibition of THEORY OF SURVIVAL Artist in Residency at the LAB presents:
A gathering to view and discuss the archival material, primarily of Iranian Student movement from 1960-1982.
This has been a very interesting exhibition of letters, documents, leaflets, pamphlets, newspapers, magazines and books gathered in one place. A unique and thought provoking collection.
Exhibition ends on Friday April 18. However, Berkeley Lecture Series has been able to hastily organize an impromptu gathering in San Francisco on Sunday April 20 while the materials are still at the LAB.
Date: Sunday, April 20, 2008
We are hoping to have several people talk about their personal experiences. And we are looking forward to a very lively discussion.
We particularly welcome the participation of anyone involved at that period of Iranian history.
