A Viewing of the Rare Treasures of the Near East Section

With Dr. Christopher Murphy, Head of the Near East Section

10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

(The program will start sharply at 11:00 a.m.)



The lecture will be held at Room L J220, the African & Middle Eastern Reading Room, Library of Congress, Thomas Jefferson Building, 10 First Street, SE, Washington, DC 20540.

This event is free and open to the public with seating on a first-come basis.



After the presentation at the library, we will go to the Chinese Hunan Dynasty Restaurant, 215 Pennsylvania Ave. SE, Washington, DC 20003 (two blocks away from the Library) for a fixed menu lunch of $12.50. Reservations for lunch are due by Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2007.
