Peer into the lives of Iranians and the Iranian diaspora. The festival features a film competition, short films from Afghanistan and Tajikistan, shorts by members of the filmmaking Makhmalbaf family and other noted Iranian filmmmakers such as Kamran Shirdel. Film critic Godfrey Cheshire leads a discussion with Bahman Maghsoudlou and invited filmmakers. Prominent filmmakers from around the world join post-screening Q & A’s. Festival concludes with an awards ceremony.
