Tarun Bhattacharya, Indian Santur(Satatantri Veena) Roozbeh Nafisi, Iranian Santur Arup Chatterjee, Tabla Three virtuosi come together from around the world for this collaboration. A duet of santur, a universal hammer-dulcimer instrument, will be featured with tabla accompaniment. Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya, a world-class musician of India plays with Roozbeh Nafisi, a young santur virtuoso from Iran, and Arup Chatterjee, an outstanding tabla artist who has accompanied the legendary Ravi Shankar. The styles and classical traditions of Indian music and Iranian music come together in this unique collaborative project.
