Sizdah Bedar April Fool's Day Picnic at Bear Mountain State Park Rain or Shine Our community's annual Sizdah Bedar (April Fool's Day) will be held on Sunday April 1 at no later than noon (12:00) at Bear Mountain State Park. The exact location is the same place as before--in the Horseshoe (crescent) roofed courtyard next to the zoo passage way. Please bring your own foods, drinks, music, and sport equipment in order to SHARE them, as this is the best way of getting to know and welcome new people and to further strengthen your friendships with the good ole's friends who arrive from as far up as Albany, as far east as Boston, as far south as NYC, Long Island or even Philadelphia, and as far west as Scranton and Binghamton... Directions A hour drive north of New York City, Bear Mountain State Park is located on the western end of the Bear Mountain Bridge ! The main entrance is on Route 9W-south, less than a mile from the southern corner of the circle. P.S. Forward this and let everyone know of this grassroots (no sponsors) event! We have had up to a few hundreds who have shown up in previous years..
