"Power and Grace: Today’s Iranian Woman"
Call for Entries
TEKAAN, meaning movement, is an organization of individuals who are committed to forwarding the Iranian identity through creative and educational events.
Our next event, called, "Power and Grace: Today"s Iranian Woman," will showcase the work of Iranian women artists. It will take place on the 20th of October 2006 at the Cultural Center of the New College of California.
This is an open call to Iranian women artists in all media. This is a juried exhibition and there are no submission fees. The deadline for submissions is the 5th of October 2006.
Artists should send samples of their proposed work through email or post in a CD-ROM, photographic or DVD format. If you would like your work to be returned to you, please include a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your submission form. Selected artists are responsible for safely packaging and shipping their work. Submission forms can be found at www.tekaan.org
