Shab Sher of Nader Naderpour
Shab Sher of Nader Naderpour (1929-2000) is another program in our series of Shab Sher in New Jersey on SATURDAY, November 19, 2005. Nader Naderpour, this prominent Iranian poet and thinker, challenges our inner selves and reveals the purpose of life and humanity. In Dr. Yarshater's words "[Naderpour's] works will be counted among the calssics in the Persian laguage and ... is the greatest pictorial creator in Persian poetry in recent times..." This Shab Sher will be held in the prestigeous FIESTA, deservingly so, in Wood-Ridge, New Jersey and our guest speaker, Ms. Faranak Zamani, the only able person who can take us through Naderpour's thinking, will present Naderpour's life and poetry style to the audience. The program includes: Presentation, live music, lectures, poetry recitation by the audience and full-course dinner with desserts, fruits, tea, coffee & ice cream. Admission is $28.00.
