Shin Do Kumate VIII will be held in Tampa at the USF Special Events Center on Saturday, September 17, 2005. Master Mehrdad, "The Persian Warrior", an 8th Dan Blackbelt of Tampa, FL will be defending his heavy weight Shin Do Kumate Title against Patrick Berry of New Orleans, LA in the main event. Kate "The Killer" Meehan, a crowd favorite, will fight for her first pro title. Remy Bonnel out of Miami, FL, will face a rematch with Trevor Smandych of Calgary.
