Iranian Runners & Walkers club has planned a summer getaway to the beautiful Carmel & Monterey, CA on Sunday, June 26, 2005. We take you on a posh chartered bus and drive you through a most scenic route while listening to Persian music and enjoying refreshments.

Once in Monterey we will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch of Kabob koobideh by our famous chef Mr. Bakhtiari. In addition will have live music by renowned guitarist Mr. Mori Golpad. Afterward we will visit the historic downtown Carmel for desserts and souvenirs plus the best music and dancing along the way!

The bus will leave Bijan Bakery (441 Saratoga Avenue San Jose, CA 95129) at 8:30 a.m. Please RSVP for this event at admin@iranrunners.com and mail a check for $30.00 per person made payable to Mary Mehr to P.O. Please be advised that seating on the bus is limited to forty people only and we will accept only non-refundable paid reservations on a first come basis. This means if you/your friend do not show up on the day of the trip please do not ask for refund everything is paid for in advance.
