On behalf of Cal Alumni Club of Iran (CalIran) and the Society of Iranian Engineers at Berkeley (SIEB)it is our great pleasure to announce the First Cal Alumni Gathering Dinner for Iranian Alumni of UC-Berkeley.

As a group devoted to building a community of professionals based on trust and friendship, we believe this event would play a significant role in reaching our goals. Please join us in this exciting event and meet some of the most successful, influential, and brilliant engineers in the world of technology.

We will have two Cal Alumni Speakers:

- Dr. Abbas Milani, Professor, Author and Research fellow at the Hoover Institute, Stanford University, will talk about Sa'adi and modernity.

- Dr. Ahmad Bahai, CTO of National Semiconductor and Adjunct Professor in UC Berkeley and Stanford will talk about Innovation: Challenges and Rewards in 21st Century.

Our agenda also includes Iranian Traditional Music performance and several other programs.

Tickets for this event will be sold for $35 for alumni and $30 for students before April 25th, and $40 afterwards.
