Rudi Bakhtiar is one of the most successful and renowned journalists in
the United States. As a lead anchor of CNN Headline News, Bakhtiar has
guided the nation through many breaking stories, most notably during live
coverage of the September 11th terrorist attacks and the Iraq War. She
has been ranked by Lycos as one of the 20 most popular news personalities,
and was named one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World by People
Magazine. She has also been honored by several Iranian-American
organizations for her outstanding achievements.
