Shirin Ebadi Lecture
Add to Calendar05/06/04: The members and guests of the Detroit Economic Club (DEC) will honor Shirin Ebadi, the 2003 Nobel Peace Prize Winner.
Ms. Ebadi won the Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts for democracy and human rights. She is an activist for refugee rights, as well as those of women and children. She is the founder and leader of the Association for Support of Childrens Rights in Iran. Tickets for the event are $60 for members and spouses, $75 for guest of members, and $100 for non-members.
