April 4, 200409:00 AM ยป Hiking BuddiesHiking Buddies This sunday we will hike a quick hike in Wounderlich County Park located on 4040 Woodside Road about two miles from the town of Woodside. This hike has the largest diversity in plants and Scenery on the Santa Cruz mountains. We will take the Alambique trail to the Skyline Blvd. On return we will take the Skyline trail and thorough Alambique trail we reach the parking lot located just right off the Woodside road. The hike will be about 10 miles and the elevation gain is about 1200 feet. It is a moderate hike and will take about 4 - 5 hours. The direction to the trail is: Take HW 84 west from I-280. Pass town of Woodside and drive for about two miles to 4040 Woodside Road. We will all meet there at 9:00 am sharp. The hike will start on time since there are other activities in the same day that people want to attend. There is no drinking water there; bring your own water.
