Funny in Farsi

Firoozeh Dumas, author of the popular book Funny in Farsi: Growing up Iranian in America will appear at the the second annual Los Altos Library Endowment (LALE) event "Speaking Volumes" on Thursday, April 22 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.in the program room.

Dumas will read from her book, answer questions, and autograph her book. The event is free and open to the public.

Library Journal says the book is "...a valuable glimpse into the immigrant experiences of one very entertaining family."
